Welcome to the Bungalow Bread Company!

After many years of dreaming, planning and baking, our tiny, family owned bakery opened its doors on July 1st, 2008.

We have never worked so hard, while having so much fun. Truly this is our dream come true.

Our bakery and store front are on Scholls Ferry behind Big Red's and Portland Running Company. We are not easily seen from the road, but if you open your window, you just might be able to smell your way to our front door.

We specialize in classic American breads and cookies. Yes, American classics! As much as we enjoy European baked goods, we also hold a soft spot in our hearts (and stomachs) for the homemade classics of good old Uncle Sam.

We believe that these classics taste best when made by hand, using time honored techniques and natural, preservative-free ingredients. As a result, our little bakery and baked goods are way behind the times. . . and we plan to keep them that way!
